My late mom used to have the same worry as Bruno Mars’s girlfriend’s parents had in this song when I first introduced my husband to her 8 years ago. She just being protective over her little girl for she has no other child other than me and I understand her concern of wanting me to marry a great guy who will love and protect me as she did. Now that my mom has gone and leave me with this great guy who adores, loves and pours me with his warm affections as mom did. Thanks darl, hope it will last forever~!
