Discover Kuching, Sarawak

At first I refused to accompany the husband when he started to propose me to travel with him as he required to go Lundu (Lundu is a small town with 3 hours driving from Kuching which located near the border between Sarawak and Kalimantan) for his Qurban event; as I am having the Microeconomics paper on Tuesday and need more time to do some revision, but towards the end, I guess this is the opportunity to explore East Malaysia as I always fall in love with its nature, culture and friendly people.

On Saturday, we rushed with our bag pack to the airport as the arrangement were made at the very last minute and as usual, Tasha and Saif couldn’t be more thrilled to travel buy ERL and bus to LCCT. We stayed in Dormani Hotel, which nearby to Masjid Bahagian and took the opportunity to ride on penambang across the Sarawak River to have mee kolok and laksa Sarawak, also bought tones of delicious kek lapis from the nearby shop runs by the local. There’s nothing more that I could say about this trip even after several trip to East Malaysia as facilitator and Assistant Project Manager, there’s nothing like discovering it with the loved ones. (I noticed that my ideas in pouring words has become lesser since I started my class; must have been thinking too much on my paper and not to mention its pressure). So here’s some pieces of me and my kids enjoyment while discovering Kuching! –nho.

Discover Legoland Nusajaya and Rina Balinese Resort.

For the past few weeks, life has been a great new journey, meeting new people in a different network and environment. Although it’s a bit chaos; with so many things to do in a short little time, but I still find it amazing. My schedule is packed and tight for even not a single second is worth to be wasted. Phew! Now I truly understand that being a mother and a student simultaneously is never an easy task, even so, it still comes with the good package; that you are the goddess and the world to these little adoring creatures.

It amazed me on how these two kids adapting very well with mommy’s schedule. Not much of time spending with them at night now for they normally has fell asleep as I reached home and amazingly they didn’t make so much fuss about it ( I guess the father has done a very good job on them). So as an appreciation to their well controlled behavior, me and the husband decided for a visit to Legoland as a de tour after visiting the husband’s cousin down south in Johor Bharu! Guess not just Tasha and Saif were excited about the trip but mommy is thrilled too!

The opportunity to witness lego-build miniatures of the most renowned city in the world and number of games offered in Legoland was truly amazing till it made us forgot the handsome amount of money that we were made to pay in order to enter this theme park. The best of all, Natasha has finally received her driving license from Legoland Asia! D class! (Actually she took a little driving lesson and test while we were there and she did an amazing job driving a dummy red car!)

Also after visiting the cousin, we decided to stay another one night in a ‘Bali’ resort in Senai; Rina Balinese Resort. It is located in a remote area in one village in Senai and it took us to pass a little dark jungle and palm plantation to reach the resort. Even it is kind of dark and far but upon reaching up the place, it truly worth a travel for it made me felt as though I was in a different world that next to heaven. What a beautiful place indeed. So here are some pictures of our discovery of Legoland and Rina Balinese Resort. Enjoy!

Carrot At Home

You know what I miss the most, at this point of time?

I must say a good peaceful normal night sleep.
I have been too much of indulging myself with numbers, equations as well as theories in those thick books.

This is not me making a fuss and complains. Just thought of sharing what I truly longed at this hour; while burning the midnight oil. It has been a weird sleeping hours and weird diet since I called myself a student again. I love it so much thou; at least I work hard and it’s for my own good. I love this and this is what I truly desired for. I don’t mind spending long hours with books and calculators further as the mid term is in fortnight; I find the resting and rejuvenating time is getting lesser.

It was 9.15pm and I was still stuck at school having a discussion after class when the husband sent this picture thru bbm. I just can’t bear of looking at their sweet smile.

Have you ever been in the situation where you are being super duper busy and away from the loved ones when suddenly they send you something that makes you miss them more and can't help but desperately longed for them so much? That was exactly what I felt when the husband send me the above picture! Sorry! It is just torturing to be away from these little ones at this hour and I just have to make a move, go home and give these two angels a big hug. Glad for they are still very much awake when I reached home. At least I got to kiss Natasha and read a story of ‘ A Greedy Fat Cat’ to Saif before he went to bed.

Assignments and papers can wait. After a long restless day, I deserve a comfy and warm cuddle in between my favorite duo.

p/s: Thanks to hubby too for accompanying his wife studying every night while playing PS3! You are my upmost cheerleader baby!
