Discover Malaysia: Hatiku Tertinggal Di Kundasang.

Awww! Too melodramatic for an entry title nonetheless it was my true feeling as I said farewell to the beautiful Kundasang last week.

What so awesome about Kundasang, a small town nearby the famous most renowned Mount Kinabalu?
It just too beautiful not to fall in love with the beautiful magnificent landscape of Kundasang and if anyone of you get a chance to go there, wait no more for Kundasang will never thwart you.

I first fell for Sabah on my first visit to Sabah in 2004 as a facilitator for a cybercamp, since then, after few trip to Sabah years after, I fell more and more with this Negeri Di Bawah Bayu and it grew even more when I had a chance to visit Kundasang with my kids and husband for a school holiday last week. The people were nice and super polite,  the seafood are good even at some places such Kundasang, it can be a bit expensive but nothing can beat the tomyam, dried curry daging as well as their vegetables soup (which more like a Cantonese vege soup for it too delicious!) and most importantly Kundasang's luxurious cold and windy whether which nowhere in Peninsular could offer the same.

We lived in Mount Kinabalu Heritage Resort and Spa, for 3 days in chalet no. 12 ; the chalet offers the best view of Mount Kinabalu among other chalets. Upon arrival, we couldn’t help but to quickly become ’jakun’ and fell in love with the breathtaking view of Mount Kinabalu from our balcony. Second day, we enjoyed a great hot bath in Poring, Ranau after had the splendid breakfast of roti canai in Pekan Kundasang. (The best soft and garing roti canai I ever taste!) In Kundasang, they serve roti canai with curry and the curry is lighter (more like curry tumis) compared to the thick dhal and curry we have here in Semenanjung, and thereafter, we spend the whole evening walking around the small town of Kundasang, visiting strawberry park, had a fresh strawberry ice creams and strawberry milkshake. We had a chance to visit the fresh milk processing factory; Kundasang Dairy Farm or also known as Desa Farm ; and Tasha and Saif were having a great experience with little calf and goat; give them makan rumput and minum susu.

How would I describe more about my trip to magnificent Kundasang? It is just too beautiful not to be visited and Kundasang definitely hold a special place in our heart. Best gile!-nho
