Few days back me and the husband decided to send an email to school highlighting on bully issue. Our intention is to seek for the explanation on what action will be taken by school if such cases happen for I strongly believe; any students at any schools will undeniably came across such conflict. The strongest reason for us doing that is because our princess has started to complain that there are few boys in class started to take a few step further in teasing her by punching her stomach and pushing her until she fell terribly.
Truth is, she has been telling this to us since the past 3 months. But as parents, the best thing we could do is to advice her for this is what she will probably face once she started school. People carry different attribute. Some might be kind but some are vice versa. But most important thing is how to tackle them when the path crossed. Our best advice is for her to be patience. Telling her that Allah will send His hikmah to those He loves. And the patience ones are among them. Further, take this as a challenge which Allah sends in order for her to become a better person in life. (And I am baffle if 6 years old girl such her would understand such advice).
However, I find it quite ‘interesting’ when school seems to neglect the issue by constantly ‘build a wall’ by saying this repeatedly ‘we have so many kids under our supervision, even one teacher is expected to handle minimum 30++ students in the class, therefore sometimes we cant help but to overlook the situation and it is normal for the kids range at their age to act such ways; active and hard to handle’.
As parents, we totally understand the teachers’ situation in school. With their teaching responsibility plus with other KPI’s set by the Ministry for them, it is never easy to put the satisfaction towards every parents wish. But on the other hand, we strongly believe that teachers are smart and incredibly intelligent, therefore they should have had expected this issue to come up thus prepare themselves with better remedy to curb this ‘traditional’ illness. For I have this belief that most teachers teach for passion and not as a burdening responsibility only to ensure that the end of the month their account will be debited with some amount of money; called ‘salary’.
As parents, we expect for school to tell us their firm prevention ways to tackle this issue. We would be very much appreciated if at least the Headmaster or their representative could answer our curiosity with some solid explanation and justification towards the issue, not by keep constantly telling us the same standard answer continually as though, this matter is totally none of their concern.
Perhaps the teacher should be aware on how bullying disease could influence the students emotionally and physically. I believe I don’t have to elaborate further on the examples as I know all of us are brilliant enough to infer. Bottom line, I (and I’m sure many parents out there too) do not want our children to experience a traumatize childhood only to fulfill some other kids’ bad manners in school.
To conclude, I strongly support and believe in our education and school system. I respect teachers and appreciate their endeavors in developing our kids to become a good civilian. Nevertheless, I would like to stress here that, parents nowadays are concern about their kids’ education in order to adapt their kids in this rapid development of globalization world. That probably describes their meticulousness in their kids’ advancement in school. We trust in teacher and its system and that is why sometimes the criticism exists in order for them to fix the loopholes for the sake of better generations. Walluhu’alam -nho

Even skola kecik mcm skolah aku pun ada kes buli.. Kadang-kadang, memang terlepas pandang tapi ngaku memang itu adalah tanggungjawab guru. Cari solution, bukan alasan..
